Online exhibition: ‘Schemata’, Corsica Studios’ new experimental arts platform

Corsica Studios’ new art programme, Schemata is a grassroots, experimental art platform showcasing works from emerging and established artists who push the boundaries in sound and vision. The programme’s first exhibition, Vortex, is being held off-world in a 3D, virtual replica of Corsica Studios, hosted by the 3D gallery platform New Art City


Co-curated and designed by Alice Fuller and Charlotte Clark, Vortex, the first exhibition will include works from Harmergeddon -, the a/v performance art duo Nathan Greywater and Polyphoniefae, Keiken – the collaborative practice co-founded by artists Tanya Cruz, Hana Omori and Isabel Ramos, Kode9 – the founder of record labels Hyperdub and Flatlines, the club night Ø, Most Dismal Swamp – the modular and miasmatic crew with a unique model for curating, collaborating and convivial speculation, artist Sophie Mei Birkin, Synaptic Island – the collective of DJs and creative practitioners based at Corsica Studios, artist Synda Sova and artist Victoria Sin


Vortex will be launched on the 26th of March, coinciding with the finale of New Art City’s anniversary festival. As a part of this launch, a DJ set will be streamed into the space throughout the night.
