The experimental sound and art festival returns again this year articulating their programme under the theme of Solidarity. Analysis of image datasets through ImageJ workshop by Doreen Ríos, Iklectic London, 12 October 2019
A workshop that aims to build basic knowledge for using ImageJ (free software) to visualise image datasets. It focuses on creating and understanding the visual patterns the chosen image set provides and explores how to use it for research and artistic creation. In the same way, a theoretical framework will be provided. It will expand into what DataViz means as well as its different forms and uses and how it has been integrated into contemporary artistic creation. More info.

Already on their 9th iteration, Semibreve has consistently presented a forward-thinking programme featuring some of the most revered electronic music and cross-disciplinary work by artists worldwide. With thoughtfully-considered locations and venues, together with an ethos centred around inclusiveness and community, this year line-up includes names such as Alessandro Cortini, Ipek Gorkun, Felicia Atkinson, Morton Subotnick and Lillevan, Kode9, Florence To, Oren Ambarchi and Suzane Ciani. RESHAPE Competition: cognified matter, Fira de Barcelona, 29-31 October 2019
We are moving towards an era of augmentation. Wearables, smart devices, and e-textiles are new solutions for future hybrid generations of interconnected humans and devices. The higher level of interaction is producing new paradigms, raising novel questions, imposing different habits, shifting economies and politics. Through technology, we are on the edge of a change in the perception of our habitats, ecosystems, bodies, social behaviours and interactions.
The Challenge of RESHAPE V focuses on future Wearable Tech and Smart Products applications, inviting creative minds to predict new trends, elaborate novel solutions, and recalibrate existing markets in the direction of more sustainable models. More info.

Club To Club is an avant-pop global festival, featuring a pioneering spirit for art and urban exploration. Connecting with a visual theme, the festival is titled “La Luce al Buio: Season 2”, following the series’ first season inaugurated with C2C 2018. An intercultural exploration of the meaning of light and darkness. Weirdcore, the artist behind the crazy visuals for Aphex Twin live performance is behind the graphic image. More info.
