Curating Digital Art, Town Hall Hotel London, 10 July 2018

Hans Ulrich Obrist, Jenna Sutela and Ben Vickers present an evening of inquiry into the relationship between art and digital technology,. The speakers will address questions such as Do galleries become ‘digital platforms’ or could they become obsolete if people don’t physically visit them? How does a gallery without material walls work? How should galleries translate ‘the spectacle of experience’ in digital form? More info.



Stories for a more than human, Museum Kesselhaus Berlin, 5 – 8 July 2018

New curatorial project by Theresa Schubert where a group exhibition, talks and site-specific walks will investigate diverse aspects of the contemporary nature – technology discourse and present figurations of nonhuman perspectives.  More info.



Art Night 2018, different Locations South London, 7 July 2018

The free contemporary arts festival Art  Night returns once again. Art Night puts art into exceptional locations around London for one night a year, and this year is heading south of the river Thames. The main festival is curated by the Hayward Gallery and Art Night Open and will feature curated artwork and events from artists such as Jeremy Deller, Cécile B Evans, Prem Sahib, Pierre Huyghe, Victoria Westerman and many more. More info.



Nøtel by Lawrence Lek and Kode9, Arebyte Gallery London, 19 July – 1 September  2018

Nøtel is an immersive, two-chapter multimedia installation by London-based artist Lawrence Lek created in collaboration with electronic musician Kode9 (Steve Goodman). The project installation transforms the gallery into a marketing suite for the fictional Nøtel Corporation, advertising future plans for a global hotel chain expansion. More info.



SET X CTM, different locations Teheran, 26-30 July 2018

The 4th edition of SET, Tehran’s annual experimental music festival, is dedicated entirely to artistic dialogue with Berlin. SET X CTM, has been conceived and organised in close collaboration with Berlin’s CTM – the city’s leading festival and hub for experimental music and cutting-edge sound practice.
